    Am curious to know if I'm only the only person who hates tinsel on a Christmas tree? I can never get it looking right. It always looks so tacky for me. So I've ditched the tinsel this year. Will upload a pic when we finally get some pressies under there!

    No tinsel here either... growing up my mum would decorate the tree and house with tinsel and it looked great, I just don't have that 'flair' I guess.

    I'm not a fan of tinsel, i hate all the little bits that fall everywhere. I like using beads instead.

    Our tree went up on Friday because my family has flown in for an early Christmas (we go to my in-laws for real Christmas). I've got it in the entry so that is out of reach of DS and the dog.
