Am curious to know if I'm only the only person who hates tinsel on a Christmas tree? I can never get it looking right. It always looks so tacky for me. So I've ditched the tinsel this year. Will upload a pic when we finally get some pressies under there!

I love your minion tree. Last years our tree had a plastic banana.....and then some family members added a banana to theirs in solidarity.

We are putting our tree up tomorrow night.

No tinsel here either... growing up my mum would decorate the tree and house with tinsel and it looked great, I just don't have that 'flair' I guess.

I'm not a fan of tinsel, i hate all the little bits that fall everywhere. I like using beads instead.

Our tree went up on Friday because my family has flown in for an early Christmas (we go to my in-laws for real Christmas). I've got it in the entry so that is out of reach of DS and the dog.
