I use a ham bag, because I think it'd ruin a pillow case... but you just wet it, squeeze out the excess and store it in there. I keep the rind in there too. It tends to protect it from drying out a little more.
I just dampen the bag every day.
in 20 years iv never had a ruined pillow case from ham... each to their own I guess..... I love baked ham !
