Congrats to all the BFPs! You all deserve them so much.

Hey Megs, its a tough gig alright. Weeks and weeks of buildup to the egg transfer day (on top of the years of trying to conceive before that) its a miracle we don't all crack under the expectation in the two week wait.

So sorry chiefsgirl and sleepydude and the other BFNs. It sucks.

I'd forgotten how disappointing it all is when you get a negative, its like diving into a swimming pool only to discover someone has drained all the water away *smack*
It affects me harder than my partner so you have that feeling of being on your own in all this sometimes. Except for on here of course. I know by my third BFN cycle I was so low, I probably should have gone to see a counselor at that point. The best way I cope is by looking to the next cycle. I've already figured out my rough BT date in feb, ha! Onwards and upwards and all that. Plus we have a shot to do it naturally before xmas, (fat chance frankly) I'm going to try some ovulation pee sticks seeing as I'm addicted to POAS, I haven't tried them before. Makes me feel like I'm doing something.

    Good luck everyone!

babygirl - If ET was last Monday I would have thought as of toady you were 8dp3dt. I could be wrong but I think you count the day after (so last Tuesday for you) as day 1 past transfer. It could still be a day or 2 early, they say 11dp3dt to try a hpt and 9dp5dt. Some women will test earlier and get their result and others it may take an extra couple of days. I would leave it til Thur and Fri and you should get an accurate reading. Hoping it is just early hun.

Re the crinone and being tinged with blood, that is normal so try not to worry at all.

Also re HPT I would only be using FRER (First Response Early Result) as they seem to be the most accurate and detect the smallest amt of HCG in your system.

Megs - it's not over til the fat lady sings hun, GL with your BT I think it's Friday?? Big hugs and have everything crossed for you hun. And vent anytime that is why we are all here x

Emzy - I think you can move 'thefamilygal' to hugs needed. We have been private messaging and AF arrived for her, don't think she would mind me letting you know as I don't think she is coming back to the forum for a while.

    to everyone

Just got a phone call from the fertility group that my FS is with. She introduced herself, then congratulated me on being pregnant. Except I'm not after my last test tested negative. She only had my first BT results and now I'm upset and trying not to cry at work.

BT was actually the 5/12. But went today because I had some tiny brown spotting. Should know something by this afternoon

Oh Nightchild that is horrible, what a stupid stupid woman! Im so sorry hun. Wish I could jump through this computer and give you the biggest of hugs! Try to distract yourself by doing something nice for yourself today after work...or better yet, fake a headache and go to some retail therapy or have a massage. Thinking of you xox

Hi ladies, thanks for all the well wishes, AF arrived with a vengence yesterday so I am def out.
I have a follow up appointment with my FS on the 18/12 and I have an appointment with Doctor Matthias in late January to see if I have NK cells or some sort of implanting issue. This is the second time we have had decent embryo's but nothing is sticking. I have decided to do that and will get a second FS opinion before doing any more cycles. It's just too devastating to get your hopes up and then come crashing down.

It will allow me to have a few drinks for my 40th in a couple of weeks and give me time to and get some more weight off before the next cycle which will probably be a long down starting in Feb.

Good luck to you lovely ladies, I'll still be reading along and cheering you on. Thank you so much for all of your support, I truly don't know what I would have done without it.
