Question for OPKers- what made you try OPKs? Was it a few unsuccessful months of TTC, suspecting you didn't O, having an irregular cycle, or just wanting to hit the ground running with TTC?

    Last two for us..

Last two for us too. I had irregular cycles before going on the pill so I wanted to use them when TTC our DD 3 years ago and I thought why waste time seeing what happens if we can try and time it properly with OPKs.

We got UTD with DD after the first cycle trying (using OPKS) and this time around, second time trying (using OPKs).

Both pregnancies we had no luck when leaving it to chance (1 cycle with DD and two this time).

Me 31, He 34, DD 21 months, waiting for just 1 more to complete our family.

    All of the above.

I hate not knowing every thing, so opks were never a non-option lol

Pinkorblue, I'm sorry to get you do change me but can you put me down for 25 January - it looks like I'm ovulating!!!!! Super happy dance

I did an opk tonight as I noticed a bit of ewcm and it's almost positive ImageUploadedByThe Bub Hub1389441088.300138.jpg

I'm so excited, especially since I'm off to the fertility specialist in fen as my cycles are completely out of whack. Fingers crossed i have a BFP for my appointment on 13 Feb instead.

To take the guesswork out as much as possible just came off bc and I am impatient... I also dont have any other signs. No ewcm generally. One lesser variable to contend with ...

I used OPKs because I wanted to hit the ground running. And I like having a bit of control. I also used Maybe Baby lube. I've been lucky enough to fall pregnant first try so I wonder if the Maybe Baby contributed to that?

Just have a curious question for all you ladies, when you do fall pregnant will u be going through with public or private hospital???

I think I'd go private... Only cause I've always been on private health insurance my whole life and I have epilepsy...
