    Hi Ladies

Have been lurking these threads for awhile- finally decided to post and join. Currently 6 DPO, second month TTC after coming off pill and a terrible experience last month.

Was wondering if anyone could share their coming off the pill stories with me?
This is my fourth time coming off the pill, first time to TTC. Never had any problem the first three times- I just came off, my cycle regulated immediately and I had no weird symptoms. (I fell pregnant with my DS in 2008 during one of those off the pill periods as an unplanned pregnancy).

Last cycle, from 3dpo-14dpo I had every single pregnancy symptom in the book (metallic taste in mouth, bloating, nausea, burning nipples, sore breasts, etc, etc)- I felt exactly like I did with DS's pregnancy- I was convinced I was UTD. I got either a false positive or a very, very, very faint BFP on 12dpo. My period arrived on cue, cd28. I then assumed that maybe it was my body just reacting to my natural hormones? It's weird though, cause this didn't happen the first 3 times I came off (same pill each time). Now I am starting to have the same pregnancy symptoms again (I think I'm 6dpo), and Im not sure if this is because its my 2 second off BCP or something else. I was so upset about being "tricked" last cycle. Just wondered if someone could share their experiences so I don't get my hopes up.

Sorry for an emotional first post!

Lilahh I haven't been in your exact situation but generally speaking a bfp is a bfp, sometimes women miscarry very early because the embryo doesn't implant properly. It sounds to me like this might have been the case for you. Fingers crossed this time it's a sticky one

What? Aww no, just go for it hon. The chances of twins are still low and if you know for certain you have a beautiful egg or two ready and waiting to be fertilized it just means you're twice as likely to fall pregnant this cycle. I would go for it if I were you!
