    Default Bring a Plate

DD has her christmas party at childcare tomorrow. All parents are asked to provide a plate of food.

I am after some ideas. I have done the fruit stuff and dont want to just buy some packaged cr@p and shove it on a plate...

Hit me with your best ideas!!!

    What about
    homemade dip and fresh veg/crackers.
cupcakes with xmas design on them
pizza scolls (roll up push pastry with pizza topping in then cut into rounds and bake...kids love them)
    mini quiche
    mini pavs

Puff pastry scrolls are always a winner. Just put Vegemite and cheese on a sheet of puff pastry... Roll it up, cut it up and bake! Easy peasy!

Chop up some apple and pear into small pieces, spinkle with brown sugar, roll and bake.
Or slice some banana and sprinkle choc chips over, roll and bake

Be sure to cook the sweet ones at a bit lower temp, for a bit longer (about 180) as you dont want the choc or sugar to burn.

That sounds so yummy! Do you roll them up and cut them up and then cook or cut them up after they are cooked?
