    Default Third time lucky...

    Hallo

I'm new to this site having been recommended it today by a good friend. I'm 8.5 weeks pregnant, my third pregnancy in the past 12 months - the previous two ending with D&C's due to one blighted ovum in January, followed by twins that just didn't develop in August. I haven't had any other children.

I didn't expect to fall for a third time so quickly but so far so good Rather romantically, I fell while holidaying in Thailand having just become engaged - so perhaps this time it's meant to be.

I used to be right into social media and online communities etc but ditched all of that a really long time ago and am out of practice. Hopefully I can get back into it, and hopefully this baby sticks so I can share my journey and your journeys for many months to come

All the best to you all

Congrats Boudi79, I'm also in a similar situation to you. This is my 3rd pregnancy in 12 months also, I lost both of my previous babies at 14 & 15 weeks with no answers after going through testing the second time. I had to deliver my first baby (in the maternity ward) which was the worst experience I have ever been through and then I opted for a D&C the second time as I just couldn't go through that again. Both babies were perfectly formed and their 12 week scans also came back fine. I'm currently about 7 weeks and extremely anxious but just trying to remain positive. I haven't been to see my Ob yet but have an appointment at the end of the week so hoping all is ok so far. I'm new to this site too and it's nice to hear that you're not alone sometimes!

Anyway, just wanted to wish you all the best for this pregnancy and sending lots of well wishes your way. Hopefully we can both share our journey right to the end this time
