    SO any people dont like trifle because of this (the soggy cake thing). Its actually NOT meant to be like that. The mistake alot of people make is putting the jelly on the cake when its hot. You meant to let the jelly cool down (to COLD) before you pour it over the jelly. This way the cake doesnt get all soggy.
    I actually cool the jelly to almost set then put the sponge on top, a little bit of booze on top but not enough to make it soggy.
    Just saying!

    I have to vote pav because it's one of my fave desserts of all time.
    While I like pretty much all of the trifle ingredients separately, I'm really not a fan of them all served together.. Makes my tummy churn a little.
