    Tbh i wouldnt even change my
    Holiday for my own sister if she booked after she knew out dates.

    This. Totally agree.

    I was trying to figure it out in my head and I was like wtf? My hubby's sister didn't invite my parents to her wedding. And if she had asked them to cut a trip short I'm sure they would have just laughed at her.

    I wouldn't have a clue. lol. she invited them to her 21st as well which was weird, nothing else after that... and now the wedding.

    well honestly probably cos she knows they give very very generous gifts.. but really, when I tried to explain the ridiculousness of them changing their trip she was all ''well let them decide for themselves''... well yes ok... but nothing to be crappy over.

    I don't get how either party is being unreasonable??

    Your SIL gets married on the date she wants and two almost strangers won't be there.
    Your parents go on the trip as planned and don't have to go to the wedding of an almost stranger.

    I'm with pp, I don't get why they are invited or why either party would care if they don't go???
