Thembs, sorry to read your update. Take care of yourself. What we have to go through really just sux's. hugs to you.

Emski, I had an email from Dr Le Roux this morning apologising for his slow responses over the past couple of days as they have had IT issues with their emails. Hopefully now back to normal you shall hear something soon.

Jacks, sorry to read that you have been so badly treated from what i have read, would not expect this from them and it is not good enough. You are one amazingly strong women and I wish you all the very best with your next cycle in J'burg.

    Hi Jacks,

sorry to read you had a really ordinary experience with CFC , we hear so many good news stories on here but rarely anything negative. I appreciate when someone is honest enough to share if something is negative or of concern as it helps us all make decisions on this rocky and stressful road. I hope like crazy that things work out for you in J'burg.
Twirly - great news thank you for sharing your experience!

Thembs, I am so very sorry to hear of your results. It breaks my heart to hear of those ladies who don't get the result that we all hope for. It just seems so unfair and I wish you much strength in the coming days and weeks.

Jacks69, I was surprised and really shocked by your story. There have been so very many positive stories about CFC and I am so sorry that you had such a negative experience with them. I cannot imagine how you did it being on your own at the end. I hope you have a much more positive experience in Jo'berg.

Thembs sorry to hear your result. Rarely, I wouldn't get your hopes up, you can have a late implantation which may delay the HCG. I would see what your GP says and probably do a test in a couple of days. Accutually I would probably POAS twice a day for the next week but I doubt that's a healthy approach! Good luck with the keeping busy.

jacks sorry you had a bad experience. I found Dr M quite good. I did find in general there was more of a paternalistic approach in CT the Australia. I assume it's a cultural thing. Good luck in J burg.

Hi again, Jacks, I'm so sorry about your experience. I didn't read the posts when I posted earlier. I really hope all goes well in JNB.

Em- that's good news about your treatment plan.

Plimpy- I understand what you are saying and it's true. I won't get my hopes high unless things change.

I still thank everyone for your support and kind words.

I received an email from Dr H from CFC and he wants me to repeat the BT tomorrow as it is still equivocal. I suppose I'll do it tomorrow when I see my GP then wait the whole weekend for the results 😱.

    Hello all

Blinky - I'll be doing my transfer with Dr Wiswedel and Cyndi. I finally got confirmation of my payment being received. Now to wait and see when my donor can get in for testing. How long did it take for your donors to get their appt for testing?

twirlywhirly - thank you for your story. I have also chosen a donor that has never donated before. But she is young and healthy and it felt right.

Jacks - like the other ladies have said, I'm sorry you had such a negative experience there. I'm much the same though, very non confrontational so I'm hoping it goes smoothly.

Thembs - so sorry your results weren't what you were hoping for. Stay strong honey. Fingers crossed its late implantation.

emski - yay you can go ahead and book all the fun things now.

hello to all the lovely ladies I have missed.

AFM - I'm sitting here twiddling my thumbs and checking my emails every 30 minutes like a maniac, waiting for confirmation of my donors appts.

Actually speaking of lining thickening, does anyone know what the protocol is if in the end the lining isn't thick enough for transfer? Do they just freeze the embies and you have to go back for frozen transfer?
