    Hi Annette,

sorry to hear you're faced with having to make these tough choices.

Angelmama - I would get CFC or your GP/FS here to do you up a letter to cover all bases. In all the reading I've done, people are barely ever asked to show one, but it's probably best to have one. Clexane is daily - I have it all the way through as I have a clotting disorder that makes me 8 times more likely to get a clot. It can't hurt with the long haul flight either.

Angelmama, I agree with Emski to get the letter just in case. I got one from my FS here to cover the meds I took over and then another from CFC to cover the meds I was bringing back. I was queried once about the injections but my explanation was enough - they didn't need to see the letter. Funnily enough, coming back through Jo'berg airport I was asked after my carry-on went through the x-ray whether I had anything that I shouldn't have. I had my 40 or so Gestone injections in my bag and was ready with my explanation and to whip out the letter but he was only interested in the bottle of water that I shouldn't have had!
I was prescribed daily Clexane along with aspirin after my positive pregnancy test when I came back. I don't have clotting issues but was told it was standard procedure. Can't remember exactly why now - to improve placental bloodflow I presume, and yes, it can only be a benefit with the long haul flights.

Net - I'm so sorry to hear that you've come to that place. Be kind to yourself.
Angelmama - like Emski sad a letter from your doctor. That's what I plan to do.

    Hello Ladies
Just a quick update from me. We have paid CFC just waiting for it to process which my lovely bank said could take a week, all I can say is I'm learning patience from this process :-). By FS is going to put me on an immune protocol just in case, so I'm happy with that. Lastly our donors February donation has pulled out so we have brought ours forward to April. So we are hopefully going to be arriving in CT on the Easter weekend. I'm very happy that she will now have a good break from her donations with the last one in November. Less than 14 weeks until we are hopefully off, can't wait.

    How is everyone else travelling?

Emski loving your blog, hits the nail on the head exactly :-).

Congrats Lily72. How exciting! I am very jealous. I wish we were at the stage of choosing a donor and planning our trip!

Hi Ladies, sorry I have been MIA... Just waiting really
CFC and sunshine are paid. Our donor has had her first visit with Dr W and is booked to see the psychologist this Thursday. We expect a treatment plan to follow next week at which stage we can book all the other (fun) stuff
This process is definitely a lesson in patience but then I guess the whole journey for all us ladies to achieve a take home baby has been that! (5 years of patience for us so far)

Hope you all have a great week
