We just got back from our scan. Everything is absolutely perfect and we found out we are having a little boy. So a beautiful early Christmas present for all of us! Words cannot express how happy we are.

To those of you who have just received your BFP's congratulations, to those of you who are still on the journey - never give up, remember that there always is hope.

Wishing everybody a very safe and Happy Christmas.

Hello ladies....I just want to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and a New Year full of wonderful surprises.

Thank you to all you lovely ladies for all your support pre and post our South African adventure and especially during our little scare with bubba a couple of weeks ago.

You are truly amazing courageous beautiful ladies.

Bub is going great guns...approximately 3 weeks ahead on growth and VERY active. OB says "chunky with very long legs". We are getting support on cleft lips and are truly glad that it is a stand alone issue and not linked to anything chromosomal.

We haven't found out what we are having...we really want a surprise.

I have given myself a Christmas present.....FINALLY felt comfortable changing my signature block...thought at 23 weeks, changing it wouldn't jinx bub!!!

I hope you all have a wonderful day tomorrow.

MERRY CHRISTMAS...and I hope you all get something lovely in your Christmas stockings.

Peasoup - absolutely wonderful news. Congratulations and enjoy.

Sunny - how lovely you changed your signature. Much love to you Hun. How exciting, we didn't find out either. Xxx

Net - so pleased you decided to be with your family in Brisvegas. I realise today will be tough for you, but you need to be surrounded by love ATM. Xx

To all other Ladies still chasing a BFP - Having been there multiple Christmas' past I understand that today can be a remarkably emotional day. Be kind to yourselves. Sometimes things in life just don't make any sense. Hoping like crazy that your parenthood dreams are realised in 2014.

To to all ladies expecting, just think this time next year you will be sharing Christmas with your little one. Xx

Quick post to update - specialist called on Xmas Eve and said there is nothing sinister going on. CA125 levels have dropped from high 400's to just under 200 - still very high (must have been related to those ED meds to a certain extent after all), but after the MRI, he doesn't think it is anything to worry about and no need for a laparoscopy. He's going to run the results past a couple of his colleagues to be sure, which is reassuring. A few things came up, but nothing that will stop us continuing on our ED journey. So, good news prior to Xmas.

Hope you all had a wonderful Boxing Day

Sooty- that must have been a huge relief to get that phone call from your specialist! Great news that ED for 2014 can still go ahead

Pea soup - congratulations on your exciting news... Here's hoping there are more BFP's to come in the new year.

Net - glad to hear your 'drunk dialling' resulted in what was probably a great Christmas wrapped in Brisvegas heat and family love.

To everyone else let's hope the ride into our various cycles is smooth and successful

AFM - we r heading to the beach on the Sunny Coast for a week of camping. Looking forward to relaxing and reconnecting after a few big months of IVF cycling and then our decision to dive head first into ED ... We hope to be able to book our flights in mid January after our donor seen the psych. Doctor...I'm impatient to start but know that the time will fly in the New year and March will arrive before we know it.
Hope all you girls have an enjoyable New Year's Eve and celebrate with family and friends knowing that 2014 will hold great things for us all!

Wanted to post sooner but we had issues with our home computer. A belated Merry Xmas to everyone, hope your new year is fabulous, a new year a new start.
Congratulations Two Whites on the safe arrival of your bubba. Congrats to Abundance and Pea Soup on your +ves, may they continue without incident. Net, CFC treat ladies until they turn 50 so you've got time yet. Glad you were able to have a Xmas with family and were able to get the finances sorted.
Sooty - thank goodness everything is OK. Have been waiting to hear and hope the other things they found aren't going to be a worry.
AFM - had my 2nd scan and the Dr was very happy with the results. Our little bean is still growing and the heartrate has increased. We even saw it move. It was a big relief for DH and I as the day before I was so sure it had stopped working that I ended up with a tension headache from the worry. Our due date is 31/7 which makes the star sign Leo. I thought how appropriate, a lion, for our little one.

    Hi everyone,

I hope you had a great Christmas.

Great news Sooty... glad to hear everything is looking up for you and you can go ahead as planned. When were you looking at going back?

BB4Me - congratulations on the scan and how exciting to see bub move!

Blinky have a good break at the Sunshine Coast - we're going up there at the end of Jan for a week - I come from there and my parents are still there so doing the obligatory annual catch up - but this year I actually really need the week down time!

Sunny - glad to hear you sounding happier - I hope you had a great Christmas.

AFM - not much to report - after weeks of looking at accommodation (as that's all I can do) I think I've decided to do the ababysa travel package and stay at the Vineyard for the whole time - the rates are good and the hotel looks lovely and it includes car hire. I don't really want to be in the thick of things - quite happy to drive to the thick of things and then come home to a nice quiet hotel!

DH just wants to be close to the clinic to do his samples so this seems like a great option. Has anyone else stayed here - all reports look good online.

I am finding it hard to sleep at night already - a lot on my mind and thinking about things - God help me when I actually get close to going! Lol. Might have to drag out the mediation cds.

    Em x
