WRT an international drivers licence, we got one from the RACQ before we went over, it's another form of photo ID. Last time we were in CT the police pulled us over, they were doing random licence checks, DH forgot where he'd put his QLD licence so I gave them the international licence and they accepted that and we were right to go. Were freaking out a bit at the time though and of course DH found the licence in his CC wallet straight after. (We carried 2 wallets, one with the cash, one with the CCs)

BB and abundance what lovely news! Helen, I have everything crossed for you!

AFM, I am in transit in Hong Kong on the way home. I have a keyboard! Yay! Trying to type on the tablet was driving me mental. I am in 2WW madness. I had twinges the first few days but now nothing and it is hard not to despair at the lack of symptoms. I had the foresight to pack my POAS so I wouldn't be tempted.

The tour of new York was good in that I felt I made good use of my time and resources in maximising my experience. On the other hand, i ended up with a major cab expense I didn't need or want in getting there and it was bitterly cold. I found it hard to take photos as most of the time, we were either walking to the next bit or on a bus behind glass. That said, I filled the memory card and drained the battery so plenty to play with when I am home and dealing with photos. I enjoyed the statue of liberty more than I thought I would. I hadn't really wanted to see the 911 memorial as I thought I'd end up in tears but it was Ok and is very effectively done as a memorial. I'll post the flickr link once I've downloaded and labelled everything so if you are interested you can have a look.

I was really sad to leave Barbados. The people there are so lovely and I will miss them!
Anyway, my ankles have turned to cankles on the last flight so I had better trudge up and down a bit more. My carry-on has got rather heavy so I am trolleying it around. I am off to find a cuppa to try to stay hydrated. A few hours yet to go before I can start the last leg.

    Hope everyone is doing great.

BB4ME - I stopped the Gestone and Progynova at 10 weeks as per the CFC schedule. My FS didn't recommend I continue. I was also weaned off the prednislone pretty quickly after getting my BFP and stopped taking the Clexane at 10 weeks.

I'm 18 weeks tomorrow and can't wait for our 20 week scan on Christmas Eve to find out the sex of our bub.

So much good news on here - its lovely to read and gives us all hope. Enjoy!

I still cant work out how it is Xmas in a few weeks... how did that happen? I think because we were in Cape Town for 3 weeks, its crept up so quick. The same will be for you with Xmas in the middle!

    AFM
I've had a bit of scare recently, where my CA125 levels are through the roof. Its a tumor marker test (ovarian cancer) BUT... it could be anything too. Normally my level over the past 3 years has been sitting around 100 (which is still very high) but it can be lots of things.. endo etc.
I think its been brought on by IVF, but obviously I cant be sure. I originally got tested because I had really painful r/hand ovary pain on the 2nd day of my period a few years ago, and then it would disappear (not every period, just some, maybe 3-4 times over 2-3 years). The pain was that bad, that nurofen wouldn't even numb it, so that's why I originally asked the GP and I guess that was how I ended up finding out my CA125 is so high. Its a test that can detect lots of things, and there is no sure test for o/cancer - so, it really is a process of elimination. But, not what I need right now!!

This time, my reading is 489 - and the GP referred me to a gyny/cancer specialist. Theres nothing in our family, but hes organised more bloods (waiting on results to come back) and an MRI - next w/end. He said he wouldn't recommend any ED Cycles until we get to the bottom of it.

Deep down I'm worried, and even more worried if we ever got told to stop. I trust this isn't going to be the case... and hopefully its just a reaction to all the drugs I was on. I asked Dr M if he thought the immune treatment affected it - he said no.

I know you ladies are VERY educated on lots of things, and I know am in the best hands with this specialise - he is amazing. Very thorough, takes his time and nice nice man. If you've ever had this I'd love to hear from you.

I best be off, as am at work... and of course shouldn't be on here !!

Oh Sooty - I just read your post! How awfully stressful It sounds like you're in good hands and will get to the bottom of the problem! I must admit I have not heard of CA125 before so can't give any advice.

Look after yourself and let us know how you go Fingers crossed it is absolutely nothing to worry about and you can embark on a new cycle next year.

    Thinking of you xxx

January, Rainbow - thank you so much for your kind words and your support.... I hope so too I've been able to move my MRI forward to Thursday afternoon, which is better than Saturday. The specialist is on leave, but is so passionate about what he does, that he came in especially to see me, when they saw the referral from my GP. He's a darling man, so said he will touch base with the office on the 23rd and look at my test results then. I wish he was still an obstetrician.. but he gave it up as he liked his sleep too much !!
