Blinky - that's good, as they are definitely not listed on the CFC website anymore.

    Hello ladies

i used to frequent this site hourly praying and hoping for me and the others who used it ....

Dh and I went to Cape Town in feb 2012 and saw dr heylen we now have 2 month old twin girls Charli and Ella - I just wanted to let all of you know that dreams do come true, the road may get rocky sometimes but it can pay off.

CFC was brilliant , we used baby2mom egg donor agency and couldn't speak highly enough of jenni

sending baby dust to you all

    cheers

Nicole72 - congrats on your twin girls. That's great news.

We used Jenny at Baby2mom as well for our treatment cycle in August, unfortunately we did not have the same experience with Jenny that you did.

We made extra payments for petrol, which I found out later on from people on this forum as well as the CFC that we should not of been asked to pay for - given our donor was based in Cape Town.

Then, when our donor only produced one poor quality egg, Jenny's cold email was simply "well we just never know what happens with the gametes". I was gobsmacked and will never forget it!

Luckily we had the wonderful Dr Le Roux who gave us access to the frozen egg bank and went to the ends of the earth to produce a pregnancy for us via the use of the frozen egg bank. But the success of our cycle was definitely due entirely to him and I felt like Jenny's only concern in the whole process was for the donor.

Hi Ladies, sorry haven't posted in a while. Super busy.

Net - I am hoping your travels have taken a turn around for the positive I have been thinking of you daily, so am sorry that I have not been on sooner to post my support. Here's hoping a lovely BFP will be your silver lining. All the very best for your TF.

To he lady who asked re sperm transport. I am sorry to sorry to say the lady hasn't gotten back to me. I am a bit reluctant to ask again due to that cycle not being successful for her.

As for agencies, we went with Baby2mom, prior to transfer and travel Jenny was excellent, always contactable and very good with communication. That said, following our transfer, no communication at all, which was a bit disappointing. We were also asked to pay an extra 1000R for petrol costs. At the end of the day we didn't mind paying it, but the clinic was not happy about it, saying words to the effect the donors know the deal and we shouldn't have to pay extra and Jenny shouldn't be asking for it. Also Baby2mom is not on CFCs recommended list, likewise may be worth asking why. At the end of the day our dream was realised, we have a beautiful little boy and feel so blessed.

Makes me wonder if the list of approved agencies I received was old ? Baby 2 mom was on the list I received too. I tried logging onto them but had no success, the links didn't work and the site kept freezing... (tried on both )my laptop and my iPad/iPhone , so in the end I gave up.

Hi Blinky - yeah there is a connection there... they are pretty open about it.
Feeling good here ladies - my mother in law popped in this morning and DH told her what we're doing and he finally sounded EXCITED about it which is great... mother in law was a little taken aback about it, but when I told her my FS endorsed it she was ok with it.
