As soon as you can because nothing will happen with the donor until you do

Emski - cant you try to secure her... the international money transfer should buy you some time. Surely they would take her off the website for a couple of days until your payment can be made... I would definitely ask the question regardless.

    Hi Ladies,

I have been following this thread for a while now and I haveto thank JodiW for starting it.
My DH and I thought this time last year that we would neverhave a child, we have had several IVF procedures over five years with nilpregnancies and then my AMH was tested and this was <1. After some research for os egg donors, South Africalooked viable and then I read this thread and it confirmed that this was an optionfor us.
Earlier this year we went to Cape Town to CFC and saw Dr Matebese, she wasvery professional, replied to all ouremails and kept us informed of the donor status and delayed EPU to ensure theeggs were more developed. 10 eggs were retrieved, 9 fertilized, 2 weretransferred and we ended up with 4 frozen. I used EDSA as this is where we found the donor we liked and Kimenthrawas lovely to deal with, as far as I am aware it was the donors third donation.
We have now been blessed with a beautiful baby boy.
This thread provides comfort to me knowing there are otherladies who have undertaken or will undertake the same journey. We both wish you all the best for yourjourney and hope you get that BFP.

Yay to you emski! We aren't very far away from selecting ours either.. We are down to two and just waiting for information from the clinics to confirm which one we will go with...

Its all happening ladies with choosing donors. Well done Emski and Januaryxx Its very exciting choosing what could be our potential baby! My donor has had her bloods today and tomorrow seeing CFC psychologist, I am praying everything is a-ok! Jenny my nurse co-ordinator has said if all ok I can start making my travel arrangements. I am so excited and my husband is out at the moment with our daughter and I have no one to share this news with but I knew you ladies would get it. Here is to a new beginning .
