Default Show off your Christmas craft!

I know lots of us get a bit DIY at this time of year- what are you working on, what are you super proud of, what awesome idea do you need help with or motivation to start??

Last year I made these stockings for the kids

This year I am making an advent calendar (still very much a work in progress!) under the tree are the pockets with the decorations in them, you add one to the tree each day. I've just finished sewing on the buttons, next up is the pockets

It will look a bit like this when complete

I need to get my skates on and finish it, it needs to be done by next weekend, argh!

I helped DS1 make this yesterday. We've been coming up with alternative options to a tree because we have limited space and a 10 month old who is into everything.

I need to get motivated to make salt dough ornaments with the kids so I can get them dried and painted in time.

Your advent calendar is a great idea. I might do it next year as I promised myself I would finish DS1' s quilt before starting to sew anything else.

    Sent from my telecommunications device.

A Santa sack in the making for DS. It was going to be a stocking but I decided it was too hard! Still not sure how to finish the top.

Some potholders I've made for part of hampers for siblings/parents. I won't show you the back cause they aren't very neat!

I'm also planning to do some hand/foot print canvases

I've not moved beyond my wrapping paper so far. Hoping to do a hanging 'chandelier' decoration this weekend.

DD's advent calendar was mine when I was growing up. I'm a bit in love.

Wreath for front door! Currently working on a Santa sack for DS but it is going veryyy slowly :/ Am going to make Xmas bon bons as well. I saw the info on how to do it on one the crafty fb pages. SAHM or organised housewife or one of those. If I find it, want me to post a link?

Nothing this year. Too much crap going on. I could make a miniature wreath out if the 75 billion nits in this house? >_<
