    Default Accommodation in Sydney?

    Hi all =)
It's dp's 30th next year and I want to take him to Sydney to the aquarium and a few other attractions in the city. Do any of you know of a nice, affordable place we could stay close by? Or have any of you stayed out of the main part of the city somewhere cheaper? We would also be taking bub who will be around 4 months.
    TIA

I'm in Sydney so may be able to help, but it depends how much per night you are thinking may be suitable for your trip?

I used Airbnb and found a nice 1 bedroom apartment for $115 a night, in surrey hills, right near central station.

It was perfect especially with a baby. Very convenient location, right near a 7 eleven and buses and trains will take you anywhere

Well, the cheaper the better really. But I don't want to stay anywhere dodgy or a backpackers!
It would be nice to be able to afford to stay at the Hilton!!

Neutral Bay Motor Lodge is very reasonable, homely, & just a short ferry ride to cbd or direct to darling harbour where the aquarium is. But if Airbnb is $115pn I imagine thats a deal that would be fairly hard to beat in Sydney. Will keep my thinking cap on!

We stayed at the Ibis in Mascot. Close to the airport, and a 5 minute walk to the train station, 15 minutes to the Quay.

    Have you checked Airbnb @Flaz88?
In most cases it works out cheaper than an hotel with a much larger accommodation, kitchen etc so you can save on food too

We never use hotels anymore unless we're going to a remote area with no Airbnb options.
