We have our work Xmas party coming up next week and I have a feeling everyone else at work will figure it out. We're going on a winery tour and I've always been the keen socialiser who enjoys a drink!

Has anyone booked in for a dating scan? I have mind scheduled for Monday week. Can't wait! I hope we see a heartbeat
    Hi Cocoblue,

How many weeks will you be for your dating scan? When can a heart beat be detected? So exciting!!

Good luck for your scan...I find them so nerve wrecking!

Anyone else having mood swings?? I am in a constant bad mood!

I was super emotional leading up to getting my bfp but now I'm one mood- happy! Everyone is different but I've read mood swings are very normal. I'm still waiting for symptoms to kick in! Sometimes I wish I had some so I could actually feel pregnant...

    This exactly!
And yes I've been super emotional as well - but it's happiness! Over the last week I've been welling up and getting teary because I'm happy. And then I got my BFP yesterday and I was a happy teary mess. Lol. DH made a new CD for the car and I cried when our wedding song came on and he reached over to hold my hand! 😳

6 weeks is when the symptoms really kicked in for me last time. Are the mums who have already had children having a different preg so far? Last time I knew before I took the test because my bbs hurt so much. This time they don't hurt at all but I do get an ache type feeling sometimes. I also got really full on cramping last time. Now I just get twinges. Is it because my body has already been through those big changes? Just wondering if it is different for u so far?

I don't think you need a dating scan if you are sure of the dates. I ovulate really late and have no idea when it happened this cycle as I didn't track properly.

This is my 8th pregnancy, 3 children and 4 m/c. So far i have very sore and big boobies, stretching kind ache around my belly, m/s, mood swings, food aversion and slight cramping, tiredness..and I'm only 4 weeks!!!! Aaahhhh

I want to be just purely happy but I am stressed. I'm worried about m/c again..even thou I'm trying not too and I have a business with my friend which will be affected so as much as she is happy for me its stressing her out which is stressing me out so I either spend my time wanting to cry or yell. :-(

Gee, sounds like you had a rough trot last time! Hope it's smoother sailing this time.

Sorry to hear how stressed you are Mumof princess. It must be difficult with the worry. Thanks for your responses. I am extremely tired and have my crazy mince and meat obsession like last time. I guess fx everything is ok. Not much I can do I guess.

I was thinking of waiting til 8wks for dating scan as I want to ensure I see a heartbeat, otherwise I'll just worry if I go early and don't see one!

I haven't booked it yet, but might call up tomorrow. :-)

Toured another maternity unit this arvo... I'm so struggling to decide! There are pros and cons with both!

Thanks Bebe, that is kind of you. Ohh yes it was a rough trot. I won't go into the rest of the dramas I had. I can't believe I even want another one. Hormones! haha. My DD is gorgeous though so she is making it hard to not want another! I am determined to make it better this time around.
    Hope you are doing well
