I'm feeling a little uneasy having told quite a few people! Oh god- I wish it was just "safe"!
I've told my 2 besties, one is also my business partner, and my neighbour who I'm close with. DF told his dad and cousin. We have moved our weddding forward from May to Feb and the big announcement will be then. We also had to cancel my birthday party as it was in 2 weeks with about 80 people. They would of been suspicious. A couple of DF's close mates wives having babies in the next few months so he will probably tell them. When i had my m/c last year it actually helped having a few people know as they understood why DF and I werent as sociable.
I'm not sure when to tell Miss 6 though. She knew last time and it helped when i was in hospital and she understands she has angel brother/sisters but i dont want her blabbing to everyone..she is pretty good at keeping secrets though. Its hard cause DF is away during the week so she is here with me being sick which concerns her.
I just cant wait for the 12 week mark...even a scan with a heart beat will make me happy !!

I even told my boss. He's super supportive and has recommended I take a year off after having the baby.

We have our work Xmas party coming up next week and I have a feeling everyone else at work will figure it out. We're going on a winery tour and I've always been the keen socialiser who enjoys a drink!

Has anyone booked in for a dating scan? I have mind scheduled for Monday week. Can't wait! I hope we see a heartbeat
I enjoy a drink too! I was at my Xmas party last night for one of my work places and told one of my work mates because it was just easier than trying to get out of drinking with her. I still have another Xmas party to go to so that will be interesting.
My dating scan is thurs 12th. Can't wait.

My doctor told me to come back for my next apt at 8 weeks. She didn't mention a dating scan. When are they normally done?

    Great. Thanks.

Will you ladies bring your dp/DH along for the dating scan? I'm thinking I will.

Yes hopefully. He works away Mon to Fri. Gets home lunch time Fridays so I'm not sure of my chances but hopefully.

Congratulations on getting to 4 weeks Princess! I find each week is a milestone and closer to baby.

It's now feeling really real for me. Not sure what changed - maybe the nausea I felt yesterday made it more real. But I'm now beginning to believe this is really happening

Our scan is booked in for Monday week which will be 6w5d. I hope it all goes well!

    Default August 2014

    Subbing!

One app tell me my EDD is the end of August, the other says the start of September so I guess I'll have to wait and see. I hope it's ok I'm here for now!

I poas again this morning and my line wasn't much darker at all :/ Aside from a little tiredness mid afternoon i feel completely normal so I'm planning to book in for a doctors appointment first thing next weeklong get the bloods done. Hopefully reassure myself a little. Now to find a GP who isn't hopeless! We've just moved and I'm still looking for a good one who's books are open.

We haven't told anyone else at this stage, just DH and I. If I was going to be a bit further along we'd have loved to tell our families at Christmas as we have to travel interstate to see them all. Ah well
