It was my first stretch and sweep, I wasn't sure what to expect but it didn't hurt at all, just wasn't very comfortable. Apparently I was about 2cm and starting to efface. I haven't had any bleeding or loss of plug since I had it but I've been a bit crampy

Good luck for your appt tomorrow. Can't wait til we all have our precious babies in our arms. I think you are the only one left having a surprise?! I think we have had an abundance of girls this month!

My midwife is confident I will go into labour within the week so fingers crossed! She gave me a stretch and sweep today and I'm booked in for acupuncture tomorrow morning!

The fluid levels had fine up slightly which is good, still on the low side though. Everything else was totally fine
Yay! I'm sure you won't need the week. Enjoy the acupuncture!

So many have had their babies on the Facebook group, there's only about 6-7 left now. Of those about 4 are still surprises!

How did you go today @Colbie and @Green Cheese? My next appt isn't til after my due date.
Wouldn't be much to a 40 wk appt anyway really.

Hey girls, I had acupuncture this morning which seemed pretty good! Fingers crossed something comes of it. I have been getting some pain come and go but it doesn't feel like regular contractions, it's more of a cervix pressure pain? I have used my breast pump a couple of times today too.

Told dr(had a little teary) I was a bit worried about my placenta from last time being unhealthy and the same thing happening again, and she offered some extra monitoring this week. So I go in every two days from here to have bp and urine checked, and then if nothing happens by the end of the weekend I'm getting induced!! So gel Sunday night and then waters/syntocin Monday. Because of the retained placenta last time I will be on the syntocin even if I go into labour naturally so I'm not too worried about being induced as I was with dd.

She did a bit of a stretch, about 1-2cm dilated but cervix still hard and while she could feel bubbas head it still moved back up.
