So i felt better...BUT...then i went to have shower tonight and went to the loo and had light brown spotting...so now I'm a bit stressed.
I'm due for my period around now so hoping its just old blood.

Don't stress Hun, I have had spotting with all my pregnancies , and it's very normal.. And my home tests went lighter too, once you get your blood tests and your first scan you will feel better.

welcome all the newbies, how exciting so many babies

I am high risk and think it is a bit hard to know what without discussing With each type of care. The GP doesn't know what I should do...
I would. You would have to pay the first initial consultation fee with the OB, but you can always than call them later and cancel. I am sure it would be fine and they get cancellations all the time.

I have been debating all through TTC about what which way to go. I think we are all set to go public through the birth centre, but still got a little voice saying maybe I should call my old OB.

Hi, hoping to join you all as well. This is my 6th pregnancy, 2 children and 3 m/c. I'm trying to be really positive and not watch every symptom or test all the time. Due to some of our issues our specialist dr will monitor my hcg & progesterone levels every 4 days, so I've decided to start having the blood tests Thursday. I have tested a little too early so trying not get ahead of myself. It's so hard to be excited but I'm sure I'll relax after I start having scans. But also trying to be positive and not stressing because that's not good for me.

Thanks for that. If I had my time over I would go with a birth centre and a doula or private midwife. I won't be able to now though. I have done a lot of research about vbacs but think I will prob go elective csection at this point. It is a hard decision isn't it!

Hi, I am 5 weeks on Wednesday. Will be due on 6th August. I had a frozen embryo transfer this time. My first was an IVF baby and second natural, so this will be my 3rd baby.
Very tired at the moment with my dh overseas and looking after a 2 and 3 year old.
    Congratulations to everyone!

While unexpected, this baby isn't unwanted and I'm quite excited!

Wow- what a way to learn you are pregnant! I am due Aug 9 as are a few others here. Do you have any symptoms?
