I bowed out of this conversation a while ago because I felt like I was going in circles trying to defend my opinion. Maybe its time you do as well
I was trying to understand your perspective. To do that, I asked you to basically clarify what you meant. If you don't want to discuss stuff, why are you here? Maybe next time you post a view you should add a disclaimer that your views, however vaguely stated, are not open for question or discussion. That way people won't take an interest in what you think or try to have conversations with you.
Sorry if I'm coming off as bishy but I'm kinda sick of people jumping down my throat (or other members) for asking questions in the course of a discussion. If you aren't willing to discuss, don't bother posting.
Theres been more than just discussion / conversation in this thread tho.
If people cant "discuss" without belittling, being rude etc then maybe they shouldnt post either.
You've been respectful Atropos.
It was probably me being referred to... but, I've been stuck indoors with an unwell 7 year old for three days, am sleep deprived - and get a bit narky regarding certain topics.
And whilst Zoe's Law is happening in NSW, there is now a want to propose a bill to re-criminalise abortion in VIC, even though it was only decriminalised in 2008/09.
I hope nothing comes of it, but here's some more info: http://www.news.com.au/national/shaw...-1226770014975
