Default Voip.. who uses the internet to make calls etc? which app to use?

Do you use the internet to make calls or send messages using an app? Which one so you use? Do you only use it while using wifi? If you use your phones internet how much data does it use?

tell me how it works please. we recently had home internet put on and want to make the most of it.

I use it on wifi as I don't get signal to call using my phone. I use an app called Viber.

Sent from my GT-I9305T using The Bub Hub mobile app

I use Viber too - in fact I just spent a month in Europe and used it everyday to call and send photos to my littlies. I used it with the wifi Internet on my mobile in hotel rooms etc and my parents used it on their laptop here in Australia also using wifi. It worked amazingly well really considering it's free.

I just tried to set viber up and I can't. It wants a code but it hasn't sent one to me and the back up option of a phone call to give me one failed as well.
