Not always the case with coming off BC. I stopped taking the pill (after 10 years) when we got back from our honeymoon, we conceived 8 months later (6 months actively TTC).

I wonder if pineapple juice is good enough or if it has to be the real deal!?

Very interesting re birth control and fertility straight after. I hope this year of being on it hasn't stuffed me up-so to speak and that I am one of the lucky ones that conceive quickly.

This is a bit glass half empty, but I have always had this feeling deep inside that it would take me awhile to get preg. I don't know why...and I really hope it's not true

Shani-you know your body well which is really good!

p.s coming off bc will mean painful periods again booo. I've enjoyed having not much period pain. Gosh I used to have some agonising ones. Once I was in the shops and could feel the pain coming on, so raced to the chemist. I spendt what felt like an hour trying to locate the nurofen because I was blacking out from low blood pressue (suffer from it anyway) and it's way worse on first day of AF. Anyway, ended up nearly fainting and the pharmacist wanted to call an ambo. I said I was ok, so they fed me jelly beans and water lol. Hope that doesn't happen again next year, there are many more stories of my painful episodes too.

I think its the pineapple core? The girls in the IVF threads always go on about 5 Pineapple cores the days after transfer? Never tried it but might give it a go if all else fails. Oh and Brazil nuts are supposed to work wonders!!

ha the joy of IVF we'll try anything!

Oh Hope It sounds like you have a terrible time with your periods. Hopefully you're wrong and it doesn't take you long to fall preg!

Wow, that's one advanced fertility monitor!

Have I missed something on the pineapple?
