Hi ladies, may I join? Haven't read the thread yet but will when I have some time. Wasn't expecting to still be TTC in 2014, started Dec 2012, but here I am hoping for a BFP on the 10th of Jan!

    Hey,

I was wondering if I could join, too?
TTC in March '14. I was in a thread before we got married earlier in the year- but with all the hype of the wedding and honeymoon, I kind of dropped off the face of bubhub for a while! 😳
But I'm back, and planning not to leave for a long time now. Haha.

I've just had my pre-conception bloods and urine done. Everything was perfect, apart from the urine sample. Apparently I have group b strep. Never had it before in my life (have had two babies already), so I'm not really sure how I've picked it up?
Dr has given me antibiotics- which I started today, then have to do a repeat urine test in 3 weeks. Frustrating!
Has anyone experienced this before? Is it easy to treat? Doc was pretty calm about it all and said it wasn't a big deal, just if it sticks around once I'm UTD, we'll need to monitor it and have antibiotics during labour. Hopefully this dose will be enough to make it pee off!

Anyway, sorry for the essay, found the results out today- so just trying to get my head around it all. Just seems to be one thing after another for me lately! 😩

Looking forward to chatting with you all! Here's to our 2014 BFP's 😊😊 Xx

How long did you have to wait after the rubella booster? I ask as my SIL got her shot in January, as she'd never gotten it as a kid, and was told 3 months. Was that the same for you?

Yay to more of us testing at the same time!
My doctor told me to wait 1 month after rubella. I had all my immunisations as a child so I don't know if that made a difference?

I read up on rubella because I was interested why it was so varied in advise. Turns out it's just opinion. Some say the shot is completely safe, some say wait 1 month, some say 3. Most suggest waiting 3 just so you've got best case scenario covered.

Lex that sucks about the wait to find out, but glad you're ok and recovering. Regardless of what was removed, you wil be fine!! We will all be here with you for your impending bfp :-D

GOOD NEWS!!!! So my wonderful OB came to see me. Didn't remove anything, tubes looked fine and There was nothing in my uterus
He said I had a lot of blood in my abdomen so he suspects it was an ectopic but I miscarried it. So he drained all of the blood out.
My hcg levels have come down so he does suspect I will get a neg preg test in a week.

I'm glad he did the laparoscopy so at least now we have a definite answer and I know what's going on. I think I would have just stressed out if I didn't.

Feeling much happier! He said wait one cycle and we can try but because I had an ectopic there is if course the chance if it happening again but told me to come in nice and early when I fall pregnant so he can check.

Thank you everyone for your support!!
