I'm starting testing on Saturday as I will be 12dpo then. Testing 12dpo and 14dpo, as I only have 2 HPTs left!

I've also got a PT blood test on Tuesday morning with my FS.

Not so good news for me, I'm waiting at OB to discuss options and I guess I'm going to end up having a d&c. I'm crapping myself but I guess it will be good to get it done and be done with it.
Have others had a d&c? How long did it take for your body to go back to normal? Is it painful? What's recovery like?

    Hey Lexin
D&C's are usually day procedures, it was painless just emotionally difficult. Mine was 1st Oct and my cycle is still out of whack (6 week cycles) we were ok to DTD after two weeks and try again after 1 full natural cycle - which means waiting to after the third bleed (1st is D&C bleed, second is your natural cycle starting, third is TTC safe zone) a D&C will remove all your uterine lining and it takes at least 1/2 cycles to rebuild. If you do acupuncture it will heal much faster and you may try TTC early but they dont recommend it.

Hi lexim, my d&c was supposed to be a day surgery but I was kept in overnight as I had a bad pain reaction- however I feel that was more due to the medication they gave me to open my cervix than the operation itself. It is not the norm to be kept in overnight- as the other ladies have said it is usually pretty painless, maybe some period-type cramping afterwards.

Emotionally it was pretty tough on me. I'm sorry you have to go down that route but try to think of the positives- it means you will be able to ttc your next healthy bub sooner (I'm guessing you have retained product? I hate that expression, sorry).

    FML!!!!!!!

My OB is pretty sure it's ectopic
He took a repeat hcg today to see if I've had a dramatic fall over the weekend (or rise) but if it's still the same then he will go in and do a laparoscopy to remove the pregnancy and possibly tube.

Gave me the option of the chemo drug but that sounded horrendous and ongoing so I'd rather just do this and be done with it.
Currently - SH|TTING myself! The GA freaks me out!!

Hi ladies! I don't know if I have come to the right thread, but dh and I are currently ttc no.1. I am cd 26 today and crossing all my fingers and toes but could still be ttc in 2014 if no luck this cycle.
Is it ok for me to join here?
