MrsT big big hugs! I hope it's not AF but if it is, I'm certain jan is your month. Sending you stacks and stacks of baby dust!!!

Lex I hope you are ovulating and your body is getting back to normal. But I hear it can take time. And I'm sorry to hear about your GP. You really do become close to them.

As for me, I'm plodding along. I'll be 6 weeks tomorrow. So still very early. No ms but I feel a little queasy every now and then. I've grown a cup size already! I'm also quite tired and spent last weekend napping.

My work pay 18 weeks full pay may leave! I'm incredibly lucky. We were talking about options. I would like to take a year off if possible. But it might be hard financially. I'm not trying to think about it too much until this trimester is over. It's strange one minute you're so excited and the next you're fearful it won't be a sticky bub

So tomorrow is our work Xmas party at a winery. Have a feeling my news will come out. But I don't mind

I'll be looking for a new job soon too. I'm thinking I'll start looking in jan-feb. I know people often hire early in new year just not sure if I will be ready then. Wanna get finances sorted on our house before I go changing jobs etc.
Most of the time it's 12 months altogether, so you would need to have worked there around 4 months before falling pregnant as most people would leave at 8 months. That's cutting it pretty fine though!

I bought 4 pregnancy books off Amazon just then-can't wait to get them!

Also, have been applying for a new job...not that I am really unhappy at my current one, but my wing woman said she is going to and honestly I wouldn't last if she left because I would be lumped with EVERYTHING and I mean 4 ppl's jobs. There have been 2.5 ppl that have resigned in the last 4 weeks and we have taken their roles on, so without my gal by my side supporting me, I'm at a loss.
Had a call from one of the job applications today. So may be having an interview next week If I do get a new job and start in Jan...then I wouldn't have even been there 1 year by the time I have the bub if I get preg that fast. But I'm not too bothered...unless they have a crazy good maternity leave pay scheme or something. My current job has zip, hence why I am not bothered leaving at this point in my family planning journey. I think I would reconsider TTC in Feb if I did have the opportunity to receive paid leave. My wing woman at work said her previous job offered 16 weeks paid mat leave-16 weeks!!! That's amazing.
If you are unhappy and you aren't getting maternity leave anyway, I'd definitely leave.

Mrst don't get too disheartened I know how consuming it all gets. I have had to google ban myself and symptom-spot ban myself too in the past. Maybe also a good idea to stop with OPK's and other tests and just dtd unprotected and see what happens?

I'm honestly just such a control freak that I can't stop myself from doing those things lol. I just hope when we are properly trying it doesn't take too long!

Colbie you can apply for the gov maternity leave if you don't end up getting any from your work.

I've never got any m leave with either pregnancies so I have no suggestions lol.

I was going to apply for a job but then I thought there's no point as I'll just have to go on mat leave in a year or so anyway.

Hi coco. Glad things are going well for you. Good to know you've got preg symptoms, always a good sign.

Took another test this morning, faint faint pos. much more so than yesterday and that's with fmu so I feel confident my levels are dropping albeit slowly.

Gotta head to work so just a quick reply. Overnight nothing has changed. Still light spotting, very light, and brown. Will keep an eye on it over the day but if it's AF I wish she would just come :-(

Yeh I know MrsT. If it works out I get it then good, if not-so be it I guess. Just would be a nice bonus

So I do have an interview next week eeek. See how that goes and if I get a good 'vibe' from the place. Places do like to hire for the new year etc and start afresh. Think that's why this company is advertising now.

    Happy hump day ladies
