    Default Human growth hormone- omnitrope

    Hi,
I was just wondering if anyone had any experience with human growth hormones to help improve egg quality? I am stimming later this month & trying omnitrope + melotonin, menopur 200. I don't have a problem with egg numbers but our fert rate & embryo quality is not the best.
Also I saw a naturopath who has put me on vitex & ovarianne to help egg quality.
Any info, shared experiences would be most appreciated.

Hi lizzyg, I'm in the oct/nov thread. I didn't use omnitrope, I used saizen this cycle and while it didn't give me more eggs, we feel it def gave me better ones. Hope that helps.

I used Omnitrope on this last cycle. I did get more eggs than usual, but I am a poor responder with low AMH. I am currently pg from a fresh tfr and have one frozen embryo which apparently looked as good so I'd say it worked for me. I only had four shots during my cycle.

Hi Lizzy, yes Saizen is a human growth hormone. It cost me $165 per vial and I used 12 vials, so it was very expensive (and not covered by medicare). But last cycle at day 5 the two embies I had left were only 10 cell and this time they were an early blast and a morula, so I def think it made a difference for me.

I did have bad side effects of restless achey legs and my feet swelled quite badly in the last week, but I would do it again if I needed to. I'm in the TWW now with both embies on board.

Congrats on your BFP Monicker you are giving me hope!

Thanks Chiefsgirl & good luck with the 2ww!
Yes the omnitrope is expensive as well $450 for 1 vial which will last me 3 days but if it works it'll all be worth it!
I get good numbers but very poor fert rates & apparently my eggs are soft so I really hope the melotonin & omnitrope help the quality. I'm also on vitex & ovarianne from a naturopath.

Hi Lizzyg, have you had your epu yet? How did it go? Do you think the HGH helped?
