Goes up on the first of December and comes down on the first of January. The tree and christmas decorations are my thing so I put it up, if DH is home he will help too and the kids will also `help' (hinder).
Outside fairy lights are his domain however (with me on the ground instructing).

The first weekend in dec, everything goes up, tree, decs, lights. Everything gets taken down after Boxing Day. Except the lights, I like to have them on on New Year's Eve.

Ours went up 1.5 weeks ago! I want maximum enjoyment, especially since we go away 2 days after Christmas Day. I have had to stick with my plastic one as a real tree probably wouldn't last that long. As soon as our Santa sign and wreathes go up out the front, the neighbours follow within a few days.

We put ours up either the first or the second weekend in December and take them down on New Year's Eve.

As much as I love Christmas deocrations, I think I would be sick of the sight of them by Christmas if I put them up early Nov!

They go up in November (never too early to get into the festive spirit I say) and come down after New Years in early January

We get a real one and put it up early to mid December then take it down by the 6th of Jan.

DF cut it and put it in the stand and we all decorate it.

Last year DS1 decorated 4 different trees because we were at their house when they put them up. He loved it!
