Bbhope I had my appt with dr m booked in for about cd16 by fluke. When I saw him and he said he wanted to do the hysteroscopy Gwen fitted me in the next week. You could try doing your first appt as a phone consult then fly in for the procedure? Yes he can do a lap too, but said I didn't need it.

Thanks tts. I guess I cd get up at 330 and do it on the days I have pt at 5am! I'm guessing it doesn't matter if it's not the same time every day? And it doesn't have to be 12hrs apart? I just don't want to not exercise as I'm already heavy and don't want to put on too much more weight with the prednisone!

Wow this threads has grown! I can see we are now up to the third one...welcome to all the ladies who are on this journey & now know there is actually a reason as to why you couldn't get or stay pregnant. I joined the first thread started by Helenmac & like many of you have been through hell & back. After many failed IVF attempts, Chinese herbs, acupuncture, detox & the Bondi protocol i sought out Dr Dr M. unfortunately we loss our darling angel boy at 21 weeks but I can now say I am very blessed to be pregnant again (22 weeks).
I wanted to post this link as it has a good explanation of most of the drugs Dr M may prescribe & I know things can get a bit confusing with everything going on. A lot I the info comes from Dr Beers site - I wish you all the success & I hope this helps.

Oh Kiwi you have been through so much! Can I ask what happened at 21 weeks? (if it is not too hard to talk about). Thanks for that awesome link!

Is anyone currently doing IVIG? I am trying to be positive but its just so hard when we have already been through so much and I feel like if it doesn’t work with clomid, we will do one last IVF and that is it. The Doctors are frustrating because they are like well lets try this and if it doesn’t work lets try this and test that. Well no how about we test for everything and throw it all in. I guess we can’t go throwing all the drugs in at once but I really don’t know how much longer I can go on for. Its just so draining not to mention running a business and trying to juggle all of that also.

Sometimes I feel like a guinea pig and I feel like IVIG is a bit too much for me I don’t know if I want to even look at it… I just feel that my body is telling me it doesn’t want to carry a baby so if it cant perhaps I should give up.

Oh I hate this rollercoaster, and I am not even doing an IVF cycle atm, the mere thought of possibly having to do it in July is making me stress L

Hello all - sorry for my absence. Was taking a nice break, but then ended up in hospital 3 times in the past fortnight with excruciating kidney stones! As if I haven't had enough hospital visits in the past two years!! Anyhow they've been laser blasted now, so have started my next (and last own egg) cycle.

    Two quick questions:

    1) I'm down to have Intrallipids this weekend, but they've said it's on Sun, not Sat this weekend. G couldn't give me a time, but Saturdays are usually 2pm-11pm, so if that's the same time for Sundays that's going to be a real pain getting up at 6am the next morning for work. Anyone had a Sunday Intrallipid before?

    2) My new FS has put me on HGH Saizen. Dr M wants me to use Prednisolone, but FS particularly says that it works against Saizen. Caught in a quandry, as don't want to mess up new FS protocol, but at same time Dr M was pretty adamant. Any thoughts?

MCG they let u out as soon as ur finished now in Hurtsville so usually 11pm, not sure if your close enough to go home at that point but it's definetely nicer to wake up in your own bed.

@MGC Bertie, sorry I can't help you with the intrapallids, but I'm glad they do them on Sunday, I'd prefer that as my Saturdays are pretty busy and a pain to try and rearrange!

I'd be interested in what you find out about the HGH Saizen and prednisone. As Dr M has prescribed prednisone for me and when I mentioned that my FS and I had agreed to do saizen again he said that was good. No mention of it not working together. Although I do remember when I was in the saizen trial last September I took symbicort which is a corticosteriod and someone said that that limits the saizen from working.

Does anyone else know about Saizen and prednisone??
@kiwi77 thanks so much for the link, I'm going to show DH so he can understand the treatments. I remember the loss of your little boy from the earlier threads, you are so brave to have tried again and I am so happy that you have another bub on the way. Congratulations. Are you feeling more at ease now you are further along than last time?

Chiefsgirl - I took saizen & prednisone this cycle. My FS is wazza. I am on 25mg preg & took saizen every day that I stimmed. We ended up with 5 CGH
normal blasts all top quality so I've have to say the saizen helped with quality. Beta is tomorrow. Maybe email Dr M about the pred & saizen - I hadn't heard anything about it.

Thanks @elarwood that puts my mind at ease. I did a dr google and it says that saizen can make prednisone not work properly. But we're on quite high doses of prednisone (or it seems like it!) so it probably doesn't matter.

Good luck for your beta tmw, how many did you out back?

Hi ladies, this morning I woke at 4am as usual but feel strange as no sore breasts and I just don't feel pregnant anymore. My nipples also getting lighter and smaller. I've had some light brown spotting. Freaking out that I've miscarried.....

got OB appt tomorrow and so worried there will be no heartbeat...

for those of you who have had BFP and then miscarried, does this sound like what happened to you? Anyone had loss of preg symptoms but not miscarry?

Hi ladies - sorry to barge in on this thread but I thought it might be a place where someone might have some idea how to answer my question...

Ive just been been told my NK cell results were right on the borderline of high and normal. Definitely not super high but just ever so slightly out of the normal range. We are trying naturally but on a monitored cycle where they will track my ovulation and I've been prescribed 15mg prednisolone. I feel very anxious after reading online about pred side effects even tho the dr, a nurse and a pharmacist have all saidto me it's unlikely to happen on such a low dose. Just curious to know what others experiences with prednisolone are ?

    Thanks so much in advance
