kiwi76, hope you are holding up the TWW.

    Congrats noonoos!

Thanks chiefsgirl for the book info.

Simpsondesert, whoa, 70k - 30k (rebate), that's a lot of money out of pocket. But baby is priceless isn't it? We just threw in 17k housing saving for the IVF + mTESE without medicare or priv insurance rebate. We won't have money to do the FET anytime soon. I am not even sure if my priv insurance is going to pay for the endo scratch and/or NK cell biopsy before our waiting period kicks in. They denied our day hospital claims because it is fertlity related. I thought at least that part can be claimed.

Not good in personal. Sorry if i miss you.

I read somewhere...can't find the info on google anymore. If you get progesterone pessaries from a doggy pharmacy, it can cause miscarriage? So.....I had this chat with a lady yesterday (specialised in fertility). When I told her that I had good hcg level at 12dp5dt, she doesn't believe that it can be implantation issue. It is likely that the embryo has genetic defect. She also suggested that I should just fly to sydney to do the NK cell biopsy with my FS. She is kind of right in the sense that I have to spend $300 to see a new FS here in perth, which is half the price of the airfare already and the new FS will just do the service and won't know what my FS wants. How much the biopsy cost? I am leaning toward doing the NK cell biopsy first and then endo scratch. That's because I might be able to fit in my work schedule in April to do the NK cell biopsy and unlikely to fit in a FET in May. If I can do the FET in May, that would be perfect. But if not, I might have to do the endo again in June or July when I am ready for the FET. To be honest, I am not sure what to expect for Dr. M appointment. I will only have basic BT result ready (as far as i know, testing for implantation issue but not immu issue).

Thanks bb, yesterday I was feeling very PMS like with my normal symptoms and tiny bit of brown spotting so gutted. AF due today but not shown up yet (after last 2 ETs I got my AF right in schedule before the pre test day). I have woken feeling really nauseous and just threw up (sorry TMI) so hoping its not OHSS or gastro! My belly is still distended and sore and I've been really fatigued but can't sleep. Trying to think it could be good sign but who knows! Want to take a HPT but will try and wait till closer to Thu which is 11dp5dt and official BETA test day.

Anyone else get nausea and vomiting during 2ww and then get BFP? Is it too early to do HPT?

Kiwi the 2ww is absolute torture. I've learnt from past 9 transfers that anything is possible - no amount of signs or symptoms mean a lot unfortunately. Not too early to test but if you've had trigger or pregnyl it could give false positive. Also with my history of chemical pregnancies I prefer not to test early as each time it has given false hopes. Totally a personal decision - but I feel for you as the wait does your head in!! All the best for a sticky & high HCG result. Also keep an eye on oHSS - you could have it.

Pihu- did AF show up over the weekend?

Noonoos- congrats on your pregnancy! There is a lady in our FB group who started her immune treatment quite late (7wks I think), and she is now close to 30wks pregnant. I hope this time you get your take-home baby.

Kiwi- I try not to start testing until 14dpo (2 days before BT). Brown discharge does not always mean the onset of AF, it can be from implantation bleeding. Your symptoms sound very promising and I hope you are looking at 2 lines on a pee stick in the next few days! Pregnancy starts from CD1 of the cycle in which you conceived. So by the time you get your BFP, you're already 4wks pregnant. The 2nd intralipid at 6wks is roughly 2 weeks after confirmation of pregnancy. I never needed IVIG, it was intralipids all the way for me at intervals of 6-7 weeks.

bbhope- a baby sure is priceless. It sucks when finances get in the way of your next attempt. I'm afraid the lady you spoke to about the HCG levels and miscarrige is very wrong on that subject. Several ladies here have miscarried babies that were chromosomally normal, or had chemical pregnancies from PGD embryos, it was their immune systems that caused their losses. Your BTs should be including immune issues, as these are the things that cause implantation failure and miscarriage. If your FS didn't do enough tests, then Dr M will get you to do more BTs. My NK cell testing was $310 but that is the laboratory's testing fee. My FS took the sample at the same time he did a hysterscopy & laparoscopy, so I wasn't charged separately just for NK biopsy.

    Hi everyone else

Totally agree with Simpson Desert bbhope - I've had 6 PGD chromosomally normal embryos transferred & ended in chemical pregnancies. FS said it was embryo quality (AA grade blasts at 30 years old) but all along its been immune issues. I also recommend you get everything tested. Good luck!

Egg pick up today - 22 eggs! Was expecting about 12, but always seem to get 10 or so more. Hoping for good quality with Growth Hormone & Luveris & doing CGH testing again. Had intralipids today & again on Friday but since our issue is allo-immune we have 50:50 chance of a non/matching embryo being transferred. If not we go to Sydney for LIT at the end of Feb. hopefully I won't be needing it & the intralipids, steriods & clexane will be enough.

Thanks for all the well wishes ladies ! I'm feeling hopeful now I know there are others who started immune treatment after BFP.

I've just had my new Doppler confiscated by hubby found a hb twice over a few days then today couldn't find it and nearly had a nervous breakdown. Second attempt I found it but the time in between was horrific! I hope he throws it away !

Simpson dessert am I able to join the Facebook group?
