Thanks you all for the reply.

Scuffy: who did your biopsy? Somebody on the perth thread said that the biopsy was sent to syd so it took 6 weeks to have the result in compared to 2 weeks mentioned earlier. If Dr M was willing to accept your biopsy result, i should go to this FS. i still have time to organise here in perth. I have a business trip to syd end of march but you know and in principle can extend the trip to do biopsy there. The problem would be getting the right time of the cycle!

Hi bbhope...I also had my biopsy done by my FS before I met dr. M & he dint ask me to go for another one with him. As per my personal experience & matched it with others opinion as well...we all recommend Dr. M for Immune problem ..all the best 👍.

    Default Update

Hi All, just letting you know I had my follow up appt with Dr M last Tues and he confirmed my FS biopsy was done too early and should be around day 26 so just make sure if you're getting one done by your FS and not Dr M.

Anyhow he said my bloods came back and I have imbalance issue between NKs and Tregs and also compound MTHFR heterozygous mutation (clotting disorder). So he sent me that afternoon for intralipids given my Ivf cycle is wrapping up this week. He put me on:

3 x 0.5mg tabs Dex started immediately (increase to 4 if + and then week 8 switch to prednisolone 25mg)
augmentin 500mg started day of egg ccollection
Clexane one injection daily from day after egg collection (if + continue till month 5)
Crinone 2 applicators AM and PM
    Folic Acid 5mg

Does anyone take the 3 Dex tabs at the same time or 1 tab 3 times?

Also on DHEA 25mg twice a day
    CoQ10 75mg
    fish oil
    vit C 1000mg

Ive got my egg collection tomorrow and DH going to try for fresh sample (will see if reversal has worked 4 months on...). But he will also have a TESA. This will be first time will have fresh sperm to fertilize eggs as first 4 ICSI cycles were done using frozen from the US. Fingers crossed this give us better luck!

If we're lucky enough to get some embies I'm shooting for a day 3 transfer as they never seem to last till blast stage. And hopefully the intralipids and Dr M's protocol will make a difference too!

Thanks for the info, ladies. I'll make sure it is done later of the month.

I am just wondering is there by any chance that one did the blood tests and then rule out NK cell immediately and no need biopsy?

Just a quick one I have my follow up with dr m today and forgot to ask how much the fee is and can you pay it by eftpos? I know i had to pay cash for the first one even though it seems they do take eftpos?
