That gives me some hope! Can I ask what your protocol was? D it involve IVF?

AFM my brilliant FS managed to retrieve the one egg yesterday (2 follicles but the other one stopped at 11mm) but we got news this morning that there were unfortunately no signs of fertilisation although the ICSI went well... it seems I have reached the end of the road with my ovaries... I used to get pregnant with the one little egg and now can't make fertilisation, that's 42yo for you I suppose - I was so determined to prove them all wrong!!! Anyway we're sad but thinking of moving to donor egg now so will start a new journey tomorrow which is also our 7th wedding anniversary...

Had intralipids on Saturday and chatted to Dr M, he is a lovely, sweet man... I'm all ready to fall preggers, just no embryo, bit tricky!... weaning off the dex again, just 6 months ago I had a grade 1 embie (but no immune treatment) and now that I've got Dr M on board, cactus!
I'm so sorry this happened to you . To get that far and to put so much into uour cycle. I really feel for you. Big hugs. It's a big step moving to DE but I only wish I had done it sooner.

Hi nattie...did Dr. Gavin sacs told you about high NK 57 cell? If yes, it's vey strange because i have seen him before I went to Dr. M. ( didn't get appointment for 2 months for Dr. M) Dr. Gavin told me that there is no much evidence that proves that NK 57 cause any problem with pregnancy.

In my first biopsy I had 40/mm2 NK 57 & got back to normal after year. My FS gave me 25 mg pred for that. Dr. M didn't advise me to do biopsy again. I have read somewhere or overheard that this level gets changes in your monthly cycle. (May be closer to ovulation or implantation ) . Does it means that I might have the same level as in my first biopsy because I have stopped steroids now??? Plz advise me ...

I have no idea. Dr S initially said my blood NK tests were all good. When I requested them for first apt with Dr M I noticed they were just over what they should be... Only just had my biopsy and requested results for Dr M, I haven't been back to Dr S yet.

I had the same experience with Dr. G. I also didn't go back to him.

PiHu my NK 57 cells were diagnosed by uterine biopsy

Nattie, yes I did IVF with CGH (as I have a balanced translocation) Dr M's protocol was pretty standard prednisolone, aspirin, clexane, IVIG pre transfer (intralipids whilst pregnant) high dose progesterone and the regular supplements of elevit, megafol and caltrate plus. It seemed to be the magic formula for me! :-)
