A lot of us had bleeding at some stage, mine was at 11 weeks and I was put on bed rest for a few days until it stopped by dr m. It could be normal, try to stay positive until you get the results of your blood test and rest up. Hope it's all ok xx

Libelle I'm so sorry you are having this stress. They say if you don't have any pain or cramping that it's more than likely fine. You won't feel ok until you have that blood test though. Fingers tightly crossed for you. I know lots of people have bleeding in pregnancy and go on to have perfectly healthy babies just keep trying to stay positive. It's all you can do

Hi Libelle, so sorry you are going through this! Just to let you know that I had bleeding on and off until 15 weeks with my bub - 1st bleeding was around day 12dpo and I was sure it was all over but did a test and it was faint positive... then I once got a big red bleed but I can't recall when, maybe 11 weeks or so, it just suddenly kind of gushed out and my OB didn't know what it was but we got through... I have also heard from a friend that her acupuncturist worked on her when she bled around 6 weeks. All the very best for tomorrow, stay rested and I hope they get that result to you quickly

Hello ladies. I'm hoping someone who has had a biopsy with Dr M can help me out please.

Short version is my last day one was way back on 7 October so G told me to take the pill from 26 November to bring on a bleed. She now has me booked in for my biopsy on 17 December and told me to keep taking the active pill and don't stop.

I thought I had to have AF before the biopsy?? I did question her and she said she was correct so I don't know why I'm feeling like the timing isn't right.
If we do it on the 17th I still won't have had a bleed since October.

Can anyone help at all please??? I need to be certain so I can get my flights booked ASAP as its a week out from Xmas! Thanks.

Hi Soclose, I also have biopsy scheduled on the 17th with Dr M. I was told to take the pill until the 17th to keep AF away since I am expecting it around the 15th. Dr M said that I will bleed 2 days after I stop.

Hi Libelle, I also had bleeding at week-5. It started with brown discharge and then progress to red. Had my bhcg tested and it dropped from 129 to 12. I hope it will be different with you. All the best today.

This is the 1st first time I wrote the result of our IVF here in bubhub. I was in the Over 40 thread and was very devastated that I avoided bubhub until I stumble on DrM. I have high antithyroglobulin antibodies and hoping that DrM can help us have our dream "complete" family.

Hi leomum and thanks for that. I guess I have to trust that it will be ok!

I was part of the original over 40's thread way back and I also had a lot of time away until recently. It was just too hard. I am so so happy though to have found here after years of one failed transfer after another.

Good luck with your biopsy. How's that, same day hey! Hoping we both find some answers with Dr M after our biopsies.

Libelle- great to hear you got the thyroid meds sorted so quickly. Very scary about the bleeding though... it has happened to several ladies in this group and didn't necessarily mean bad news. I hope it has stopped and your BT today shows everything is on track . I think Dr M prescribes intralipids case-by-case, I've had 3 doses so far at 5 days before FET, 6wks and 13 weeks. I've just had another BT from him and waiting for next instructions.

Elarwood- glad you're not so worried anymore . Did you have your transfer yesterday? If so, congrats on being PUPO and tons of baby dust to you

    Helenmac
    - so excited for your upcoming cycle!! All the best for the trip to SA and picking up your precious cargo

Soclose- awesome news that your biospy will happen this year after all. I didn't do mine with Dr M, with my FS the process was quite different. I had to wait until I had ovulated then the biopsy was done 7-12 days after O. If G is sure about the instructions and Leomum is doing the same, then sounds like it will be OK.

Leomum- Welcome to our group . Dr M can definitely help. I have high thyroglobulin and high thyroid peroxidase antibodies, and I got a BFP first time with Dr M's protocol after 6 previous failed transfers. I wonder if you and Soclose will pass in the corridors on biopsy day?!

Scruffy- hope all is well with you and your little boy

Big hi to timetoshine, nidhulaine, preciousheart, sooty, cappy and everyone else

There used to be a roll call once upon a time... must go back and dig it up.

AFM- I'm off to Adelaide for work next week, my last trip for a very long time! When I come home it will be only a few more days to wait until my 19wk morph scan .

Thanks SD. I think I panic a bit too because I'm travelling interstate and just want to make sure everything is perfect.

Wow how exciting for you! You have come so far already. Your little bubba will be with you before you know it. What a happy Christmas for you knowing what is ahead. It's stories just like yours that keep me going when I feel like giving up.

A roll call would great. My memory is a shocker!

Ok so here goes for silliest question of all time! I'm assuming we are awake for our biopsies? I thought being a small procedure we would definitely be awake. Is it quick like a Pap smear? It's just that I'm booked to stay in the hospital overnight so was wondering what the go was.

    Hi to everyone.
