I made a calendar for my Mum and Dad this year with all their kids and grandkids etc on it.. pics on their birthdays etc.

A nice bottle of something if he is partial to a tipple?

Something hand/ home made? Maybe even by your kids?

What about the gift of an experience rather than a material thing? Eg a day out with your fam to the zoo or somewhere? Or a hot air balloon ride?

It's really hard to think of things for Dads!

My grandparents have everything so we make them up a hamper full of local gourmet produce. If you go to local markets, wineries and some cafes you will find heaps to fill it.

An example of what has made its way in:
    Wine
    Lemon & barley cordial
    Jam
    Chutney
    Pesto
    Pasta sauce
    Chilli sauce
    Spiced macadamias
    Cheese
    Honey

I think every adult in my family is hard to buy for! So I usually go with the hamper idea, at least they eventually use it.
Last year they all got restaurant vouchers.
This year I'm making dessert platters for each person with various slices, mini cheesecakes and chocolate balls and just have to think of something worth $50 or so to go with it!

    Thanks for all the replies
I think maybe those gourmet hampers.
He is a widow so probably won't use a restaurant voucher.
I did the movies last year and gave it back to me a few months ago to use cause he didn't go.
    Oh he hates reading.
I told ya he was hard lol
