After being a recipient there are no issues. It's not taboo, it's become more and more main****** and we need to engage people not create an "issues stigma"... Glad you all agree.

    Hi all

Good point - thanks for the suggestion. We've changed the title of the section to just "Egg Donation".

to be honest I had far more issues with IVF than I have so far with egg donation! It's a win for the people ... or something.

I'd just like some eggs! 😊
I haven't started looking yet though. Will have to see FS and get the ball rolling this year. I'm 45 and mine seem to be dwindling and old and envies won't stick after IVF.

Hi Emmie, I have advertised on the website www.eggdonorangels.com.au and have had some people respond to me. Which is truly awesome. I am yet to meet them and start the process until I complete my appointments with my FS. But the FS told me that the donor needs to go through a series of testing incl psychological testing so it can take a few months for all that. The recipient covers the cost of the testing and the consequent IVF cycle and collection. It's worth checking out the site and respond to an ad if you are serious about it.
They prefer under 35 yrs and preferably under 30.
That's about all I know right now. Hope that helps.
