Looking for a friend!

Hi There,

My name is Serena & I'm married with a 6 month old Benjamin.

I'm hoping to find a good friend as my old friends aren't interested in me anymore since having my baby.

It's starting to get me down not being able to sit down & have a cuppa & a chat with someone.

I just would like to meet someone that I can call a friend & who has things in common with me.

I live on the southside of Brisbane & would really like to meet someone in close vacinity to me.

I live on the Northside, so I dont think I'll be much of a help to you... But im looking for friends also. I have only met a handful of ladies here but they are all quiet abit older than me and I know no-one else!

i know what you mean, i saw one of my best friends from high school yeasterday at the shopping centre and she looks so uncomfortable having to stand there talking to me while i was watching my kids on one of those thomas the tank engine $2 rides.
i mean geeze i have kids, not the plague.
people are like that, thats why places like bubhub are so great. they give you the oppertunity to talk with other mum's about stuff just like this. have you tried a play group?
i wish i could help you with meeting up for a coffee but im from sydney, but im always happy to chat, you can add me to your msn is you have it daniellesommers84@hotmail.com of just e-mail me, hope things start looking up for you. your a mum, so just enjoy it and dont worry about other ppl. after all if they were truely your friends, they would still be around.

sorry 4 crashing ur thread, i hope you dont mind me grabbing your hotmail address's so we can have a chat on msn sometime, its just it gets pretty lonley having no1 else 2 chat with about baby stuff and sometimes jus general chat! im 20yr old from central coast in nsw and i have a 13 wk old baby girl Aida who i jus adore!

Year first bub. Its a Boy

its exciting i finished putting the room together this week.

i didn't tell anyone i was pregnant till i was 12 weeks. I think its better that way then you can get your head around it all without people playing 20 questions. hope it all goes well for you.
