Default How much formula does your 8 month old drink?

My daughter is 8.5 months old and we offer her 3 x 200mL bottles each day, if we offer more, she's not interested and it just gets wasted. She'll usually drink at least 500mL and sometimes (but rarely) she'll drain all 3 bottles. She's a great eater and happily eats 3 healthy, varied meals per day, and drinks water throughout the day.

I just wanted to know how much formula other babies of a similar age drink, I asked the MCHN last time I was there and she didn't really give me a proper answer.

    TIA :-)

I'd say what she's drinking is fine. In addition she is eating well.
The drs have been fine with my dd drinking about 500mls a day since she was about 6 months! (I know you know my dd had lots of medical intervention)
By 8 months or so the dietician told me that as long as bub was hydrated.. eating some solids...growing and otherwise happy (plenty of wet nappies/poop) then it's all good.
So yeah. . to cut a long story 500mls as a minimum is fine from what I've been told)

Hi my dd is nearly 10 months but still drinking the same as what she did at 8.5 months. She has 3x 180mls which majority of the time she will drink it all. On occasion although rare she may leave 10-20mls. She has 3x full meals and an afternoon snack. Hope that helps...

Exactly one week ago today my 7mo refused her bottle, flat out, screamed about it. So I kept offering it for the next few days (she would normally have 3x 180ml a day) and she absolutely won't take it.

i was pretty worried, but my mothercare nurse said not to worry as long as she's eating well (3 meals, 2 snacks, plenty of water) and still has dairy.

so I guess it's fine, it just worried me because I though she was way to young to stop taking it, but I guess I can't force it well, I did try but she flipped and prefers her sippy. Oh well!
