We did this before dd arrived and our wage went down to one income.
We found CUA had the best package for us. Low interest rate, no early repayment fees etc.
we consolidated alot of little ones and credit cards etc. saves us quite a bit in repayments in the short term, the idea being when I go back to work we will increase the amount we pay and decrease the loan sooner.

If you have a mortgage? you could ask to borrow the amont that the credit card debt and your personal loan debt and then pay them off, then refinance your mortgage.

Id talk to your bank first.

No unfortunately we don't have a mortgage. It certainly would have made things a bit easier to refinance. Arghh silly life decisions we made when we were young and still paying for it now
