We are private patients at a public hospital, so previously we saw a midwife in the private practice suite - they have now switched all of those midwives to maternity outpatients (public). This means that as opposed to the 5-10 minute wait in the waiting room which we had previously in the private practice suite, we now have to wait god knows how long (some ladies waited an hour last time I was up there) for our appointment - this means DH is unlikely to be able to come because he can't take that much time off work if it's a long appointment (ie birth planning etc). Great, thanks guys! Really helpful!

Oh & seriously DH, can you please start to think a little about the fact that there will be child in the house soon? When there's a baby living here you can't just leave coins strewn all over the place, batteries all over the coffee table etc because it's dangerous! And I refuse to follow you around the house picking up coins etc after you. I bought a money box, how hard is it to use it?

Bloody typical! Dd4 has been really unsettled the last few days and nights so I have had bugger all sleep. Last night it was after 1am before I got her to sleep and then I had to be up at 3am to take dh to the airport. By the time I got home the other kids were starting to wake up so of course I couldn't go back to bed. Didnt a chance to nap today. Managed to get dd1 to sleep at 5pm thinking she would only nap like she has been.... but no. Its almost 10pm and she is still out light a light and I havent been able to go to bed because ive had to get the other kids sorted and tidy up after dinner etc. I could have had a good 5 hours sleep!! Really really hope when she wakes, she will have a feed and go straight back to sleep and sleep like this again!

My first vent is that I can't decide if my second vent is serious or not.

My second vent is that chocolate apparently gives me shocking heartburn so has to be eaten with a gaviscon chaser

I didn't have a shower last night so need one this morning. It's easier to have it while bub is still asleep but the shower is next to her bedroom and I don't want to wake her up!

ETA seconds after I posted that, she woke up!

Some people are so.. so dramatic about things today. I am surprised their heads haven't imploded.

What brand? If it's just the screen eBay usually have the popular brand replacement screens for diy replacement jobs.
