We are private patients at a public hospital, so previously we saw a midwife in the private practice suite - they have now switched all of those midwives to maternity outpatients (public). This means that as opposed to the 5-10 minute wait in the waiting room which we had previously in the private practice suite, we now have to wait god knows how long (some ladies waited an hour last time I was up there) for our appointment - this means DH is unlikely to be able to come because he can't take that much time off work if it's a long appointment (ie birth planning etc). Great, thanks guys! Really helpful!
Oh & seriously DH, can you please start to think a little about the fact that there will be child in the house soon? When there's a baby living here you can't just leave coins strewn all over the place, batteries all over the coffee table etc because it's dangerous! And I refuse to follow you around the house picking up coins etc after you. I bought a money box, how hard is it to use it?
