Not a fun day to have been teacher in charge. Random happenings included the kid who got a nasty burn from his pie filling when he dropped it on his hand (gremlins turned up the pie warmer to nuclear); the student who got so over-excited during a class team game that he ripped half a leg off his tracksuit pants then turned to his sister and said 'you know what you're doing tonight, woman'; and two of my beautifulest, gentlest students playing a prank, which involved rubbing the protractor that allegedly had spent a significant amount of time down a former student's pants in a previous year, all over another student's water bottle. When I asked how they could possibly know which was the offending protractor, I was told it was the slightly yellow one. Ewww. Bring back the days of spitballs and drawing pins on the teachers chairs...

If it makes you feel any better it provided me with a bit of entertainment. That played out just like a cartoon in my head.

Feeling pretty stupid right now - I never normally use liquid laundry detergent (normally use powder which I just sprinkle on top of the laundry) but have bought liquid stuff to use for bub. For the life of me I can not figure out where abouts in the washing machine I am supposed to put the stuff - it says do not pour directly onto the laundry but there doesn't seem to be anywhere else to put it....can't find the instruction manual cause no doubt DH put it somewhere 'safe'.

So yet another absolutely beautiful sunny day where I can't wash bubs stuff & with six weeks to go we are running out of time.

Pour it in when the machine is empty, start the machine filling up, then once it's dissolved, add the clothes :-)

@heartstringz - you can often find appliance manuals online. That's what I generally do as my DP also files manuals in 'safe' places - aka the bin!
