Thanks we will get through them. Just not in one huge hit. They are different flavors and brand. They even came with a dozen or more decoration things to go on top.

    Subbing, what a great thread.

We are in the second week of the pay fortnight so going to make fried rice, curried sausages, chicken noodle soup and a lamb casserole. Have most of the ingredients on hand just need some eggs, stock and a few veggies.

Subbing for recipe ideas. Have been cutting right back on food spend too. We do two monthly shops and spend between $80-$130 for a fortnight for three of us. I'm in Perth and the Spud Shed is definitely the way to go - local meat, fresh produce and grocery items just soooo much cheaper than the chain supermarkets.

This was my throw together chicken casserole. Doesn't look pretty but was yummy. Will cook again and turn into a pie

Can I please just ask the ladies on here how much do you actually spend on your grocery? I'm trying so hard to bring things down but atm we spend around $400 a month.
