I have one week left of this months shopping and I'm starting to struggle. The sucky thing is I seriously have no money :-( going shopping tomorrow to buy bread, milk and some simple veggies and make everything last longer. Grabbed some early mandarins off my mums tree today they were ripe but without a frost the don't taste there best but the kids enjoyed them :-).

If you can get a butternut pumpkin cheap from a fruit and veg shop and have some cream/sour cream at home I have a very filling and delicious pumpkin soup recipe that if you have with bread can do two meals. =)

    Rice bubble marshmallow slice?

Melt a packet of marshmallows with butter (about 1/4 cup) and then mix in a bowl with several cups (about 5-6) of rice bubbles (sorry I never measure as us foolproof)

Press into a slice tray or dish and chuck in the fridge till set. Sooo moreish!
