Today I've got tomato to use up. So the boys are having toasted tomato & cheese sandwiches and I'm having tomato toast for lunch There's not really enough to make a sauce out of them.

Dinner - boys are having sausages (again... But they love them and it's a rarity) with steamed veg.

I'm not sure what in having yet.

We are still munching our way through the fruit I bought earlier in the week

I've got chicken to use up as well... I am going to make a chicken and mushroom pie (with only about 3 mushrooms .. Oh well) and chicken dippers (homemade chicken chips).

$55 but pretty confident I cab stretch it to 2.5 maybe 3 weeks with the meat as our Woolies had heaps on special.

Tonight as dp is away for work I am ds and I are staying at my parents house so they will feed me :-D

Dinner tomorrow is ravioli which should give us 2 serves for dinner tomorrow and monday lunch or dinner

Oh great - others cooking is always a bonus 😜!!!

I've just been invited to a friend's tomorrow night for dinner and I searched around in the pantry for something that I could take for nibblies. I found a container of unsalted cashews and I've just made them into honey cashews ... Waiting for them to cool before I toss them in brown sugar and cinnamon. I've been wanting to use them up for a little while - yay!!!

We've been shopping on a tight budget too. Sucks big time. But tomorrow's dinner is taken care if as I'm going to my sister's house.

Well the cashews were foul... But the chicken dippers were quite nice

Really quite healthy too ... Didn't use any oil.

Well I spent $19 on groceries last week and I've spent just over $11 this week (including tampons & liners) - so if I can't limit my spending to $10 for the remainder of the week I'll have spent $40 for the fortnight.

I did have $39 in vouchers though ($25 from woolies because of a late delivery on the second time I've ever ordered online, $10 flybuys dollars, $4 coles voucher that a man working at Coles gave me today) so it will really be $79 for the fortnight ... But I'm glad it hasn't cost me that much!

I've also been given a bag of limes and passionfruit today. Im going to use the passionfruit to make a cake cos it's my turn at work this friday. All I need to buy is a small tub of natural yoghurt.

I'm hopeful that I can keep next week's spend quite low as well.
