    Us too. More of a want to than a need to. Im sick of dh being fussy. Funnily enough I have been trying to use things up and last night he said "you've been making really great food lately" .....so when I just do it without telling him what I'm doing he actually enjoys it!

    Any ideas how to use pear purée in a muffin or something? Bubs won't eat purees anymore so looking to clear our all the frozen stuff

    You could make any kind of muffin really - if you google apple sauce recipes you could also use it in place of that too. Yummo!!

    Best recipes have a great basic recipe that you add flavors too.

    Or use it to replace oil in any cake or muffin recipe.

    I'm actually doing a fair bit of a fridge/freezer challenge. I actually don't have a whole heap of staples in the pantry at the moment. I'm more focussing on no wastage at all. Plus no buying of items I don't need right now for meals. I'm stressing big time about finances just due to having surgery and being unable to pick up supply teaching days and now bring on holidays also eliminates that so I've only got to get through until the end of Jan before my earning capacity increases again,

    I put my purée in a slices of bread that I've flatten slightly and put in a muffin tray. Savoury ones have cheese on top. I haven't done this but you could put fruit purée in bread cases and bake for a short time in oven for a after dinner treat.

    That sounds really easy I can cook but don't bake so skills are very limited lol

    You can also put puree into pancakes :-)

    Either substitute for an egg (if using more than 1) or dont add as much milk.
