I don't eat tuna so not sure if they work in the same way but my salmon patties I make with bread crumbs, eggs, onion & herbs (dried if no fresh).

I make them with mashed potato (or sweet potato) diced onions. Then dip them in egg and breadcrumbs and cook in a fry pan with very little oil. Yum!!!!
I also add a little garlic or a beaten egg to my mash. The beaten egg has to be stirred through quickly but makes them so smooth and fluffy

How is everyone going? I'm not sure if it counts for saving this week cause I cashed in my points from flybuys and have used $51 of it with $98 left. Once milk runs out though we really won't need anything extra this week. I spent $20 on Monday with top up stuff. ..mainly fruit. I meal planned kinda this week so I guess it helped.

Is anyone still doing this? I've just done a stocktake and really need to save as much money as possible. I have enough for 20 meals but am using the last of my meat so will have to stock up on that afterwards, but hopefully those 20 meals will help save some $$$ in the meantime also, does anyone have ideas for what I can make with sausages? I've got curried sausages, BBQ/sausages in bread, and sausage rolls, but wouldn't mind trying something new!

I am kinda doing it. Slacked off the last week but back on track for next week.

I do sausages in a tin of crushed tomatoes (oven or slow cooker) with whatever herbs on hand and normally peas & corn. Serve on mash potato.

I know the feeling. I've actually started losing weight as I really can't afford food on top of everything else-kind of awesome in a sad way.

What about a celery soup? You could make it lentil and celery.
Celery and other veg stir fry?
I saw a picture of celery cut up stuffed with something- no idea what though, but if you are creative?lol
    Celery juice?
