Default Disney world & Disney Cruise

Another holiday question sorry. So like I said in the other post as well as New York we are going to be going to Disney World and on a Bahamian Disney cruise. I have researched my butt off about hotels and prices so am very prepared to see the travel agent but the 1 thing I can't find a answer to is how much spending money would be needed for the 2 Disney things. I know just about everything gets charged back to a credit card but we will only have a pre loaded card and I am not sure what is a good amount to budget for it. At Disney world we will be doing a resort, tickets and dining combo so it is really only souvenirs that we will need money for and on the cruise all on board activities and meals are included so it would again be souvenirs and port excursions. So any advice on how much to budget for would be really appreciated.
P.S for those that have been to New York would $10,000 be a big enough budget for food and spending money for a week?

You will find with kids it's the souvenirs that cost the most! Disney world is expensive for food and drinks anyway and their shops have the coolest stuff!

New York has the best shopping and food so I suppose it depends what you want to buy ! We did some really great restaurants but also did some cheap delis so it depends what kind of food you like - we allocated $250 a day for food and expenses ( cabs, tips ect) and that was for the 2 of us, I did spent a lot on handbags and shoes but again it depends what you want to buy - the kids clothes are so much better and cheaper so in sure you will stick up on those as well ! Go to the Bloomingdales and Saks websites and check out the prices of what you like - I spent $1500 just in Sephora on makeup and skin care!

I do remember going to Disney Land when I was a teenager and know my parents spent a fortune on souvenirs so I already had budgeted $1000 a day for spending not including food as with our accommodation we upgraded to the deluxe meal plan so that is already covered. What is really throwing me is the Disney cruise, one answer is you can do a cruise and barely spend a cent and another says several thousand so I have absolutely no idea what to budget for. Yes DH and I have both said most of our spending will probably take place in NY
