No worries. They are very inexpensive and also very easy to grow.

I know.. I'm thinking of having a party to eat that pineapple when it comes! I live in Perth so not the best climate for the pineapple but I planted it in hope and it's coming!

Yeah, the pressure is on to think of a good way to eat it lol.

How many pineapples will it produce? I don't know much about growing pineapples! I wonder if they would grow in Melbourne... unlikely, I'm thinking.

We had an orange tree when we were kids and we used to make the yummiest fresh squeezed juice with it!

So far I haven't got much as I am still building the herb and veg/fruit beds. Currently I have: Kiwifruit, sage, oregano, Loquat, orange and the medicinal herbs yarrow, elder and marshmallow. Occasionally pumpkins and potatoes will grow outta the compost heap and we have cherry tomato plants everywhere! The dogs eat them in the backyard the redistribute them all over the lawn. I have very big plans for expansion as soon as I can afford the soil.

I'm pretty much the same. Can successfully grow chillies, tomatoes, and capsicums. Everything else dies.

My uncle has the most awesome veggie garden. I go over sometimes to help pollinate the flowers if they need help. We rent so all I have are my herbs but I can't wait to have my own veggie garden!

    My uncle grows:

    Watermelon
    Pumpkins
    sweet corn
    Zucchini
    Chard
    Tomatoes
    Silverbeet
    Beet root
    Raspberries
    Strawberries
    Avocado
    Mangoes
    Cucumber
    Passionfruit

And pretty much every herb ever! I loooove his garden!!!
