I’ve also started acupuncture and taken to wearing shoes all the time (socks if at home). I’m also going to try pineapple cores, brazil nuts and avocado during the TWW

Who knows if any will make a difference. Some I am trying I think just to feel like I have some control over the process.
JTM, I'm actually not trying anything different at all. I'm thinking of maybe I should start acupuncture as my cycle seems to be very erratic. Any recommendation for Melbourne?

What does wearing socks or shoes do? The avocado and Brazil nuts are good idea, I might start eating more of them. I love avocado.

Minib this will be my 6th stim cycle & my doc has changed it up a bit melotonin, menopur & omnitrope (Human growth hormone) & he has changed my trigger to pregnyl. I also saw a naturopath who put me on vitex & ovarianne.

My clinic seems to have sorted themselves out, they said they would call if there were any issues with the work-up and I haven’t heard, so I think that’s a good thing!

Minib – I meant Lynn Burmeister. I’m not even on any drugs so I have no excuse for getting that wrong!!! I rang her rooms today, they said to get a copy of my history and send to them and they would call me if she thought she can help. Which means I will have to explain to my current FS about getting a second opinion. I hate conflict so it won't be easy, but I'm sure this happens all the time.
With your cycle, when they get closer to when they think you are going to ovulate, you will have blood tests every second day (as well as ‘pee’ kits – which are usually false positive for me anyway), so it won’t matter when you ovulate because as long as they pick up the surge, you will be able to do a transfer. They assured me they won't miss it with bloods every second day.

Sharlee – I might have confused everyone, my birthday is next week, and it’s the big ‘35’. Wish I was turning 30 though, at that age I had no idea of the problems we are facing now!!

Thanks to everyone for their info on the scratch, I had not heard of it until a few months ago and was curious!

Hope you are all travelling well!! xx

Loolu, I rang Lynn's office as well last week. Wanted a second opinion. I was told the same thing I need to send them all the paperwork and they will call me. I haven't done it as I feel bad with my current FS. It's going to be a tough call to make but I suppose we pay so much for it we might as well follow our heart. I'm going to ring my FS's office today to get my file sent to me. Fingers crossed no drama

Stephhamer, I'm not sure how to tag people

Ladies, anyone having vitamin e or coq10 for supplement? I bought the 500mg vit e so should I have 2 tablets a day instead to make it 1000mg? I currently take elevit, vit d, fish oil and vit e. DH takes fish oil, vit d, menevit. And I've been forcing him some goji berries as I read somewhere its good for the sperm

Minib I am on both Vit E and CEQ10 - was told to take 500 mg per day of Vit E and 200 - 400 per day of CEQ10. For DH our FS recommended goji berries, pumpkin seeds, Folic Acid 5mg a day (I think Megafol is the only one with this high a dose?), aloe Vera juice (20 ml at night), zinc 40 mg a day and selenium 100 mcg a day.

Re the shoes / socks, I had read it before somewhere and I asked my acupuncturist about it. She said the thinking is 'warm feet, warm womb' I often have cold feet / hands (poor circulation) so in addition to always making sure my feet are covered and warm she suggested also soaking my feet in warm water and Epsom salts a couple of times a week. Who knows if it makes a difference but I figure it can't hurt. I have read a few times that it is particularly important to keep your feet warm after ET so I'll have the socks on for sure then

    Happy Friday to everyone x

So this is me...CO QI0 (I take two tablets), Vitamin E and B, Bromelain tablets, Fish Oil, folic tablets, Blackmores Gold pregnancy formula tablets I take two of these I also take melatonin sometimes but don't really need it. I have being on these for about two months since my failed second cycle. I also was taking baby asprinbut have stopped because I am taking clexane... Once they do ET I am going to cut out my coffee and increase my H2O to 2 - 3 litres a day.

I have been eating brazil nuts, advocado, olives and will continue.

Bondi Protocol and Endrometrial scratch. I am also using pregnyl this time and triggering with Ovidrel?? or something like that.

Minib yah for AF It is one of the only times you ever really want to ever say that. Minib I always worry about natural cycles as well my cycles have become somewhat irregular since IVF so I can't rely on them being 28 days and last cycle I actually ovulated at CD9. I guess we just have to hope that the clinics know what they are doing and time it right. I would hate to get AF before my little squirt even has a chance to begin to implant so I totally hear what your saying. Will you be on any meds at all as I am on some so hopefully whatever they give me will hold AF at bay.

Nezz79 I got them from a health food shop. I tried chemist warehouse and just general chemists with no luck. I ended up going to Stockland shopping center and they have a healthy life shop. I am only taking one bromelain tablet a day ATM but will up it to 2 a day at ET day for a week.

A friend also told me that maca root is meant to be great as well she is a health freak and knows her stuff. I didn't get any as I feel like I am already on every drug known to man but the health shops do stock it.
