    Default Humidifier or vaporiser?

I'm just wondering which one is better for a child's room? I've read some are harder to clean than others. Also which is the best brand to buy?

It depends on where you're living: some climates are not suited to humidifiers. It also depends on why you're using one as sometimes its use is not recommended (for example, humidifiers can promote mould growth and dust mite proliferation). There are two types of humidifiers - cool and warm. Both used for different reasons.

Humidifiers must be cleaned regularly and meticulously as mould can grow in them. But the more expensive ones are quite reliable. If you do get one, buy one with an internal thermostat.

I have never used a vaporiser. Was advised by my doctor not to use one. So I would get advice from your practitioner on what would be best for your child.
